Hotel Solitaire is the name of at least three hotels located in India in the cities of Chandigarh, Bangalore and Agra near the world famous Taj Mahal.
 Around 1870 the Lady Cadogan's Ilustrated Games of Solitaire or Patience by Adelaide Cadogan was published and it described and depicted a collection of 47 card games of solitaire.
The record of world's fastest computer solitaire is 12 seconds.
"Patience" is another name for Solitaire.
Named after Napoleon like "Napoleon at St. Helena", "Napoleon's Square" and others, due to the rumor that he played Patience during his exile, however there is written record of Napoleon playing other card games but no mention to solitaire was made.
Solitaire card games were traditionally used as a sort of person's luck indicator in German and Scandinavian countries.
